Pigeon Forge best Miniature Lava Glaze Bowl

This miniature bowl was hand-thrown by Douglas Ferguson, founder of the Pigeon Forge Pottery of Tennessee. It features an excellent example of his black and white lava glaze, with smooth pits and craters over the entire piece. In some areas the white glaze is thicker and rim is slightly undulating, giving it an even more organic-looking appearance. It is hand-incised "Pigeon Forge Pottery Tenn D.F." as shown. In excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks, or glaze flaws. The last photo shows the bowl in natural light.
