The "bay" in the name refers West Indies bay leaf which gives it its unique scent along with spices, and traditionally Jamaican rum. These were combined to give the bay rum fragrance its distinctive woody, sweet, and spicy scent. Bay Leaves are infused all throughout this kit! Not only are bay leaves used for topical acne treatments, but the anti-inflammatory properties can bring down puffiness in the skin without causing loss of moisture.

From the West Indies the BAY RUM scent spread to the best rest of the world and became popular among men as an aftershave scent. Barbershops in America developed their own unique version of bay rum aftershave to slather on their patrons so they walked out smelling awesomely manly after getting their straight razor shaves.

Avocado, Kokum, Shea Butters, & Rice Bran Oil make up the butters and carrier oils used in this set. Cane sugars were used in the Neck & Face Scrub, Castille Soap, Witch Hazel, & Glycerin make up the beard wash. And we even threw in an alcohol based cologne! Essential Oils like Coconut, Amyris, Rosemary, Clove, Sandalwood and more is present in this blend.
