The steel yard informed that the steel is 4140 steel alloy for round diameter.

Solid 1 inch Hardy post is approximately 3 inches long.

It almost weighs 9 lbs, heavy duty. Hand-built in the USA (Montana) with American steel.

All structural welds done with 7018 for strength and built to last a lifetime.
