Shirley Temple Composition Doll 1930s Vintage Doll best !!SALE!!

From Doll Collectors Price Guide 1996. "This is an especially convincing Shirley clone. Without Ideal markings, it is always assumed that these Shirley-look dolls are not the real thing, although many are just as lovely as the original. 1996 price $150.00". This Shirley has a composition head, fully jointed composition body, tin sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth (note crazing close to her mouth) and Shirley Temple style mohair wig, 17" tall. All clothing made by me, I found a little girls red polka dot dress at a thrift store and made her dress using a vintage pattern, also made slip and undies, shoes are Mary Jane shoes are new..........well, 20 years old that is, just not original to the doll or period, her mohair wig is nappy in the back and perhaps has been cut, I bought her from a woman I called "the doll lady" since she restrung her and all best I can't say for sure but think she has been repainted too. She is a cutie and would make a lovely addition to your doll collection.
