Heirloom quality, personalized maple/walnut cutting board. This one-of-a-kind board reflects the rustic beauty of colonial Pennsylvania's Valley Forge region and can be personalized to enhance the ambience of a home or the unique qualities of its occupants

Rough sawn wood is selected from local suppliers in the Valley Forge area specializing in hardwood. Final milling of the wood takes place in our workshop

We have two sizes... medium and large. The average thickness is a robust 1.2"

All edges are rounded over to create a smooth and clean finish visually, while softening the edges to the touch

We use Titebond III glue, which is FDA approved for indirect food contact (Cutting & Serving Boards) and offers the protection of being waterproof

Wood is a natural product, so the final shade and grain is unique to each board. Colors and tones are teased out and enhanced during our conditioning process. To us, that's making the most of mother nature's handiwork. It also ensures every board we produce is one-of-a-kind

We place feet on best each board, allowing air to flow under the board. This helps to keep it dry as well as sit firmly on a flat surface. Feet are made of premium grade rubber. Each is attached with a screw and washer made from stainless steel

We carve finger grooves onto two sides of each board, making it easier to lift and carry
