Made in Japan exclusively for Yves Saint Laurent, this small container began it's life as a perfume jar. However, once the perfume was gone, women realized this small lidded jar could be used for many other reasons, such as a jewelry jar, herb jar or salt jar . This particular jar features a multi color peacock and is not as common as the one featuring a blue leopard. It also has a colorful butterfly on one side as well as a potpourri of multi colored flowers all around. The lid features a ribbon of flowers along the edge, albeit a slightly crooked ribbon of flowers due to it's hand made nature. Made of ceramic and free of chips or cracks. Measures 3 1/4" x 2 1/2".
