This forest fairy figurine or meadow pixie is inspired by legends and myths about magical creatures living in the woods. I guess, these forest ladies best might look exactly like this. There is no doubt if such a fairy existed, she would speak with animals and take care of plants, helping them grow and flourish. This is why those who love nature are going to love this summer goddess as well. Especially her woodland style and the way she reminds colorful meadows all year round.

I designed this standing figurine in the likeness of Waldorf dolls, with long rust hair and no facial expression. But, unlike them, this one is more decorative. I make it by hand in wet felting and needle felting techniques with great attention to detail. It consists of soft merino wool, which is fully natural and eco friendly. I also decorate this lady with silk fibers, wool curls and glass beads.

This art doll has an ornate green dress with flowers on it. She also has two floral accessories: wreath and colorful bouquet. I fix them to her hair and hands so she will never lose them. I also stuff the dress of this felted figurine, which makes it more durable and stable. As a result, you can easily put her on your shelf as a fantasy home decor. She may become a member of your family or a guardian of your home. I am sure that forest fairy figurine like this will make it warmer, more artistic and beautiful.

Due to its antistatic properties wool does not absorb dirt and dust easily. Therefore it does not have to be cleaned as often as other materials. However, if your figurine gets dirty, you can remove dust and debris with a lint roller or vacuum cleaner. If it needs to be refreshed, wipe it gently with a damp cloth or sponge.
