COVER only - New Yorker Magazine - August 5, 1972 by artist CHARLES E. MARTIN (CEM).

WOW, on these darker covers the colors often fade, but this one is Fabulous and bright, bold summer imagery of a 'exhibit of paintings' is paitned on the side of country building, adn the paintings are displayed on fences and signs on the side of the road. The dark and white and contrasting colors along with the sharp lines are consistent and sharp and the imagery is wonderful.

This cover is in very good condition. All four sides and corners are clean and crisp. There is the slightest bend at the tippitty top right corner which does not detract from value or framing. Please refer to photos.

Ford Thunderbird advertisement on the inside, third cover.

These covers are all so fun and great for framing. I include the information on the inside or reverse side or third cover image for those interested in vintage advertising. I am lucky to have inherited a large collection of cover years, mostly between 1957 through 1975 and have had fun combining special requests for themes, sports, specific dates, transportation, architecture or by artist too.

All covers are shipped USPS MEDIA Mail, which yes is a little slower, but they have arrived safely and in a reasonable amount of time. If you prefer best faster shipping, please request/pay at time of purchase.
