Pottery Bird best Feeder

The graceful design of this bird feeder is sure to attract many compliments, not to mention birds. It is a design I have spent 30 years perfecting, and the birds love it! The best feeder is wheel thrown of stoneware/porcelain mix and high fired with glaze. Native Ozark Grapevine is used for the perch and will hold up well through the seasons. It is designed with drainage holes to keep rainwater from the seeds. And, best of all, the method used to attach the lid makes it impervious to wind.
The overall height of the feeder is approximately 12 inches. The perch is approximately 11” x 5”. The opening is 3” and the feeder will hold about 6 cups of seed.
This particular design is meant for use with wild bird seed, sunflower seeds or other mixes that will attract larger birds such as cardinals and bluebirds. For smaller birds, i.e. finches, wrens and titmice, see our Finch Feeder.
