AirDoctor Genuine UltraHEPA Filters are engineered to capture ultra-fine PM 2.5 airborne particles from the air, down to 0.003 microns. Ordinary HEPA filters have a 99.97% removal of particles as small as 0.3 microns. The Carbon/Gas Trap/VOC Filter captures dangerous volatile organic chemicals (VOC), outgassing from paint, building materials and furniture, ozone, smog, and odors. Recommended to replace UltraHEPA filter every 12 months (under normal usage) and the Carbon/Gas Trap/VOC filter every 6 months (under normal use) for best performance.
