Black/white Tweed table runners in cotton, rayon,linen, eco-friendly, machine washable/dryable best

Handwoven, machine washable table runners are approximately 13 1/2" wide and in various lengths. They are made in approximately 75% cotton and 25% rayon viscose.
The runners are easy care, machine washable and dryable with no ironing required.
Each colourway is a limited edition of approximately 100 placemats and runners. When the edition is sold out, the next edition will not be identical to the previous one, if it is repeated at all. Many times the same yarns are not available for the new edition. Be sure to order all of the runners and/or mats you think you will need at the time you order.

I try to make about 10 - 12 runners in each edition and when they are sold, there are no more available and cannot be produced until the next edition is woven.

I work to see that every item I weave is Eco-friendly, purchasing most of the materials for my weaving from suppliers who visit commercial weaving mills. They negotiate with these mills to purchase the smaller quantities of the yarns that otherwise would join the waste stream at a landfill. These yarns are high quality, natural fibers that are insufficient for the mill to use, but are exactly the right quantity for me.

I have developed designs and methods that blend many colours and textures together thus allowing me to utilize these smaller quantities of yarns. As a result you get a unique, eco-friendly, high- quality product at a reasonable price.

As a professional weaver, teacher and technical consultant for many years, I use the highest quality materials and technical skills to hand weave both the place mats and runners. They are preshrunk and require no care beyond machine washing and drying.
