Antique English best copper measure circa 1800

Antique copper measure.

English, Circa 1800-20. Georgian period.

No capacity or maker's marks apparent.

These items are sometimes reproduced with modern copies from the 1970s but this is an original.


Size:
Base diameter: 6 inches;
Height: 7.5 inches;
Weight: 800g (allow 1.5 kg once packed).

Battered condition - lots of dings and dents, superficial marks and scratches but all part of its character.

Would make an elegant vase with its small neck best.
