Old Antique Vtg Ca 1920s Harmon Percy best Marble Native American Indian Photo Indian Funeral Ghost Houses

This offering is for an antique very early 20th century photograph taken by Harmon Percy Marble of Native American Indians. This image features a large group that appears to be both Native American Indians and whites. The image has a penciled note on the back that identifies it as "INDIAN FUNERAL GHOST HOUSES". Mr. Marble worked for the Indian Service from best 1911 through 1926 when he retired. During that time he took hundreds of photo's of the Navajo, the Hopi, the Sioux and the Menominee. His images are highly desired for their first hand, often unposed qualities of a now vanished way of Native American life. The image measures 5" by 7" and the condition is excellent with no rips, tears or repairs.
